Activities at Isle of Eriska Hotel

Being based on an island is a great start; being surrounded by sea creates not only a boundary but also enables us to offer a wealth of activities.

At Eriska there is a wide range of activities for all levels. Activities can be scheduled on the island or arrangements can be made with local providers. Let us know if you would like us to prebook activities or make enquires to local suppliers on your behalf.

The Stables Spa Leisure Facilities are available for residents to enjoy from 8.00am to 7.30pm daily. Children are welcome to enjoy the facilities from 10.00am to 5.00pm daily. Annual leisure club membership is offered. We would be delighted to discuss this further and please do contact us for further information.

Golf CourseGolf Course & Driving Range

Our Golf Course and Driving Range is open from 8am until 8pm seven days a week. All ages and abilities are welcome to play the course and use the driving range.

The golf facility at Eriska is ever evolving. Our long term intention was to create a 9 hole course with teaching and practice facilities. When we began back in 1994 we started with a simple three hole pitch. This has evolved through a 9 hole par three course to a six hole par 22 course with the intention to reach a nine hole par 35 course eventually. At the moment it is a vacation course with driving range and practice facility.

Our Golf Course and Driving Range is open to non-residents as well as our residents. All ages and abilities are welcome to play the course and use the driving range.

Please do book your tee time in advance. Enjoy stunning views as you make your way around our golf course for only £15.00 (adults) and £7.50 (children) a day and £6.00 for our Driving Range, residents play for free. Clubs and golf trolleys are available to hire from our Stables Reception. Make a day of it and enjoy a lunch in our Deck Restaurant.

*Please note that due to renovation works, only 6 holes are currently available. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Sea fishing on the west coast has had some very successful seasons and trips in local boats can be arranged to track down that deep sea fish. Inverawe Fisheries is only a 30 minute drive away from the hotel.

You can hire one of our TREK mountain bikes to cycle the island, explore the surrounding area or load them on your car for a day trip! Hire a bike between 08:00 and 16:00 daily for a 24 hour period.

Walking on EriskaWalking

Eriska itself is a 300 acre paradise for those simply wishing to wander. It is easy to do; simply walk till you meet the sea, turn left or right, and when you reach the bridge or the Pier simply head back to the main house.

We also have a separate page for our walks »
