Our Family Friendly Approach

At the Isle of Eriska we want to do everything we can to make you feel welcome when you visit Scotland, that’s why we pride ourselves on being a family friendly hotel. We balance all the needs you might have as a family, including plenty of outdoor activities for your kids, whilst still offering you the very best 5-star amenities so that you can take moments for yourself and enjoy your break as a parent too!

Family Friendly Hotel Accommodation 

We want to make sure you and your family are as comfortable as possible when you stay with us. The majority of our hotel rooms can fit an extra bed on request at no extra charge for children under 8 and for a slight additional charge of £85 per child per night if your children are over 8 years old.

Or if you’re a larger family, or you just want more space to unwind in, we have a range of luxury self-catering cottages to choose from, most of which are within walking distance of our main hotel. Depending on the cottage you choose, you can get accommodation with multiple rooms, separate living and dining areas, private gardens, hot tubs and much more – plenty of space for all the family to enjoy!

Family Friendly Activities

There are so many indoor and outdoor family friendly activities that you can enjoy on the Isle of Eriska. We have everything from indoor sports such as tennis, bowling or badminton to outdoor sports such as archery and mountain bike trails. We even have a 17m long pool!

There are also a range of nature walks and hikes around the island which you can enjoy together, perfect for if you want to bring your dog along as well.

Babysitting Services

As much as we know you want to enjoy your time as a family on your trip to Scotland, you might also want to spend time as a couple if you’re visiting us with your partner. An evening at our fine dining restaurant is a truly romantic and unforgettable experience that you won’t want to miss. If you feel that setting is too formal for your little ones, you can speak to a member of our team to arrange babysitting services for 3-4 hours in the evening, for a charge of £30 per hour (this fee must be settled with the babysitter directly).

Of course, there are lots of other family friendly dining options to choose from as well, including room service or our deck and lounge bistros.
